State Street Axes 375 Staff; Infrastructure Head Departs
ORGANIZATION AND STRATEGY
BOSTON--State Street Corp. announced last week that it is cutting 375 employees from its Boston headquarters and other eastern Massachusetts locations, the majority of whom are in IT and support services. In what may be a related development, Frank Guerrera, senior vice president for network infrastructure at State Street Brokerage, State Street Corp.'s brokerage arm, left the company late last month.
