Knight Trading Slashes European Staff
ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT
LONDON--Knight Trading Group, the New Jersey-based securities and derivatives market maker, has said it will cut its European staff by between 10 and 20 percent, following a continuation of poor financial results for the year’s second quarter, announced last month (TTW, July 23).
The cuts will result in a loss of between 20 and 40 employees from the firm’s European operations, headquartered in London, which currently number around 200. The firm employs around 1,400 staff worldwide, and is making
