Merrill's Galante Loses Responsibility For Europe
MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGY
The roster of responsibilities attached to Merrill Lynch & Co. bond technology chief John Galante shrunk a bit earlier this month. The New York-based Galante, who formerly had oversight of technology supporting Merrill's fixed-income traders worldwide, now no longer oversees the firm's European trading operations.
Taking over as manager of technology for Europe will be the recently recruited John Oddie, based in London. Oddie joined Merrill last year from Credit Suisse Financial Products (CSFP)
