Royalblue Takes on Topic via the Web

LONDON--Equity trading systems vendor Royalblue is readying a launch of a Web-based market data and trading software package, using componentized versions of the vendor’s Fidessa software suite.
Paul Nokes, marketing director at Royalblue in London, says the product is aimed at small trading firms, retail brokers and local European brokers to bring Fidessa to a wider user base, and aims to take on Thomson Financial’s Topic data workstation. But Nokes says that because the Royalblue workstation
