Reuters Hopes to Cut Product Lines to Fifty

NEW YORK--Reuters is hoping to streamline its product lines from approximately 650 now to approximately 50 over the coming years, say Reuters officials who spoke at the Brightspot sales road show in New York last week.
Devin Wenig, executive director and president of customer segments, narrowed his earlier prediction that Reuters would have "less than 100" products (TTW, May 5), now saying that Reuters will have about 50 products "in several years."
