One Standard Data Model is Yet to Arrive

There is not one specific data model suitable for all user firms and outsourcing options vary, according to panelists at the North American Financial Information Summit.

The panelists said institutions are likely to move from a one-to-one service model to a more hybrid model over time, but at the moment there is not one common data model. "The one data model, the one golden copy, is in the future," said Sandy Weil, senior executive at Accenture Capital Markets.
