Global Index Group is led by founder and chief executive Kelly Haughton, creator and former strategic director of the Russell Indexes business. Haughton also recently hired Paul Starkey, former managing director of index calculation software vendor Indxis (formerly known as Kinetic Information System Services) and previously managing director of strategy at Mergent, as a consultant to help bring the company to market.
The vendor is currently negotiating with a range of partners to set up the ETF
