Going M-M-Mobile

In about eight weeks, I'm going to be in one of those enviable positions that only comes around every two years-the end of my wireless contract. For nearly the past two years I am content with my LG NV3 mobile phone. It allows me to check my email, text, read some of my favorite web sites and only turns itself randomly about twice a day making it one of the handiest mobile voice mail platforms out there.

Of course, I've been envious of the iPhone and the various Droid phones that have hit the market. Until now I've been happy with mobile phones. Truth be told, if Motorola could have integrated a QWERTY keyboard on to its Razr model, I'd probably still be using it.

However, listening iPhone and Droid users, voice is really the last thing any of them use their handset for. It's all about the applications and web surfing.
