Thomson Retuters has named Rob Hegarty global head of market structure for the vendor's Enterprise business. Reporting to David Kelly, chief technology officer for the Enterprise division, Hegarty will be responsible for forging strategic partnerships with market participants to expand its Elektron real-time network hosting environment. Hegarty joins from the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation, where he was managing director, prior to which he spent 10 years in senior roles at research
