Robert Garrett has joined prime broker Merlin Securities as its newest senior partner and CTO. Garrett comes from Deutsche Bank, were he served as global head of equities electronic trading technology and then global head of execution services technology. Prior to Deutsche Bank, he ran the derivatives trading and risk platforms at Bank of America before heading the bank's electronic trading IT organization.
