UCL Systemic Risk Group's Clack: Data Volumes May Hinder Depth of Analysis
Speakers at a seminar hosted by regulatory analysis firm JWG in London in July discussed to what extent the volumes of data being collected for regulatory purposes will have an impact on the levels and granularity of analysis that can be carried out.
London-based Christopher Clack, founder of the UCL Systemic Risk Group and speaker at the event, explained that one of his concerns revolved around the fact that regulators may collect the data without knowing exactly what it will have to be used
