The cash deal, whose terms have not been disclosed, has been approved by the boards of both exchanges and is awaiting final approval by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which is expected later this year.
"Now that we're over the first hurdle, we'll continue to lay out a full integration plan and schedule, but do not yet have a date," says CBSX CEO David Harris.
According to CBSX officials, the NSX will continue to operate as a separate exchange, but the CBSX will combine its data
