Data Explorers' Securities-Lending Data Available Through Direct Edge
Data Explorers has integrated its daily securities-lending information into the Direct Edge market data distribution platform, allowing customers to subscribe to the feed via their existing connectivity to Direct Edge.
Data Explorers is a provider of securities-lending data, tracking short-selling and institutional fund activity across all global market sectors. The company provides security-level information and analytics for supply, demand and borrowing costs collated daily from the securities-lending market.
The data feed delivers securities-lending information covering $12 trillion of securities in the lending programs of over 20,000 institutional funds. This data allows subscribers to create, back-test and optimize trading strategies.
Kevin Carrai, head of member and connectivity services at Direct Edge, says his firm's agreement with Data Explorers will allow Direct Edge to provide clients with valuable insights into the securities-lending market and an important resource for optimizing their trading strategies.
