Nasdaq Grows Datacenter Offering, Adds Non-Firm PHLX Quotes
Nasdaq OMX last week announced 40 gigabit per second connectivity to its US datacenter, which will reduce network latency by an average of seven microseconds compared to the exchange’s current 10 Gigabits per second offering, and Super Cab, which provider 17 kilowatts of power to each cabinet of client servers in the exchange’s datacenter. Separately, the exchange also announced that under certain conditions during an opening imbalance display period, or quote exhaust condition its PHLX market
