Instinet Adds EBBO Data Capability To Dark MTF

The Instinet Europe unit of electronic trading and agency-only brokerage service provider Instinet, has incorporated European best bid and offer (EBBO) functionality into its BlockMatch dark multi-lateral trading facility (MTF), in an effort to improve the quality of the reference prices used to support execution on dark books.
The EBBO functionality is intended to allow clients to trade in the dark at more representative prices, by including a number of trading venues.
