CME Aims for Smooth Migration of GreenX Contracts

CME Group has acquired sole ownership of GreenX Holdings, the parent company of Green Exchange, which lists environmental commodity-based futures and options products. The futures market operator will migrate GreenX contracts and open interest to its portfolio of products, and says it will work with market participants to ensure that trading and clearing of existing contracts on CME Globex and CME ClearPort continue with minimal impact.
