Vertex Taps 'Hedge's Hauser for President Role
Chicago-based hosted tick database and complex event processing system vendor Vertex Analytics has appointed former SunGard MicroHedge (now called Valdi Options) president Peter Hauser to the newly created role of president, reporting to chief executive Jim Austin.
Hauser held various senior roles over 12 years at SunGard, which acquired MicroHedge in 1998. Previously, Hauser was a sales executive at A-T Financial Information and a trader at Credit Suisse First Boston.
