Prescient Selects Connamara for Infrastructure
The deal follows Prescient's decision to trade new markets. It currently specializes in automated, short-term strategies as a managed futures fund within foreign exchange, equities, commodities and fixed income.
Connamara will use Prescient's existing proprietary components in its build, and provide source code to the fund in order to lessen vendor dependency, through its Made-to-Measure Trading Solutions service. The technology firm will also undertake all regression testing and provide an ongoing support team.
"Connamara Systems proved the right fit for Prescient Ridge Management," says Alan Swimmer, president at Prescient. "Their Made-to-Measure customizable approach allows us to focus on the Fund's new trading ideas by improving efficiency and increasing scalability. Our philosophy to trading has always been combining the best professional expertise with the best technology the market can offer."
