Clear Street building execution platform to replace vendor systems
A job posting shows that the broker is building a new algorithmic trading stack from scratch, targeting direct market access for institutional clients by year-end.
Chicago-based brokerage Clear Street is rebuilding its execution infrastructure from scratch to replace what it calls “fragmented, vendor-dependent solutions,” according to a job posting on the firm’s careers page.
The posting, which is seeking a senior software engineer for Clear Street’s algorithmic execution services team, says the firm is “building the next generation of our execution infrastructure from the ground up,” with a modular platform to take the place of existing tools.
