Polish CCP Taps Nasdaq OMX for Clearing, Risk Management

Sentinel will provide the clearing house with the ability to clear standardized OTC derivatives, in line with European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR), which mandates that central counterparties (CCPs) must have this functionality.

"KDPW_CCP is utilizing Nasdaq OMX's Sentinel technology as a part of its clearing system, to provide the robust real-time risk management required by our clearing members," says Iwona Sroka, president and CEO of KDPW_CCP. "We aim to maintain our leadership role as Poland's de facto clearing house."
