Fuzzy Logix Unveils GPU-based Analytics for R Programmers

Charlotte, NC-based high-performance analytics provider Fuzzy Logix has released a new library of graphics processing unit (GPU)-based analytics, dubbed Tanay Rx, which enables users to leverage the R programing language to access and run the vendor's Tanay Zx library of analytic models -- including matrix operations, Monte Carlo simulations, data mining, financial mathematics for equities and fixed income and time-series analysis -- without the performance constraints caused by memory limitations or lack of parallelism normally associated with R, officials say.
