Bloomberg Plucks Passarella for News Analytics
Former Dow Jones news analytics executive Rob Passarella has joined Bloomberg as product manager for news analytics, Inside Market Data has learned.
Passarella was most recently general manager and managing director of the financial institutions group at San Francisco-based social media aggregator Datasift, prior to which he was vice president and managing director at Dow Jones, having previously held various technology roles at Bear Stearns, Monitor110, JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch.
