Waters Rankings 2013: Best EDM System Provider — Markit Enterprise Data Management

The last year has been a good one for Markit EDM. Twenty-four client additions in 2012, prompted in part by the prestige of the new parent company, swelled its total client tally to just shy of 100.

Customers have commented on Markit EDM’s flexibility and rapid implementation times. Its scalability makes it able to handle large data volumes at high speeds, a crucial factor considering its customers are dealing with increased data volumes and stricter regulatory requirements. 

“Having the right data management processes in place is crucial to weathering this storm,” says Daniel Simpson, head of Markit EDM.

Markit EDM also won the best sell-side data management product at the inaugural Sell-Side Technology Awards earlier this year.
