SIX Financial Information ‘Sharpens' US Sales with Brinker, Brodhead
This month, SIX Financial Information hired Warren Brinker as senior sales manager, responsible for business development efforts in the region, and Keith Brodhead as head of solutions sales, responsible for working with clients to create customized delivery and display solutions that integrate with their existing data workflows. Both are based in New York. Brodhead reports to Brinker, who in turn reports to Barry Raskin, president of SIX Financial Information USA.
Prior to Brinker's appointment, Raskin had managed the US sales team on an interim basis following the departure of former executive vice president of sales, marketing and business development Cort Williams in May.
Brinker was most recently vice president and head of global enterprise sales at insurance software provider Ebix, where he managed sales teams around the world for the vendor's CRM and straight-through processing solutions, prior to which he was senior vice president and head of global sales and relationship management at client reporting and data management provider CorrectNet, which was later acquired by Netik (now CoreOne Technologies), and also served as vice president of sales for the Americas at SunGard STeP, and director of strategic sales at Omgeo, and at Depository Trust and Clearing Corp and The Bank of New York.
Brodhead was most recently regional sales manager at Software AG, prior to which he spent almost four years as managing director of platform services at on-demand data provider Xignite─where he became acquainted with the team at SIX Financial Information, which provides datasets to Xignite─and another four years as director and global account manager for market technology at Nasdaq OMX. He replaces Tommy Andorff, who has returned to his native Sweden for family reasons, but remains in a sales role at the vendor.
"We are sharpening our focus on the solutions space and making sure we have the resources in place to do that," Raskin says. "[Solutions sales] is a complex sales process, and now we have a team of people dedicated to that."
