Vendor ups local technical presence in Africa, India, Asia, Canada and Central America
The new PoPs, which are already live, are designed to improve the latency associated with regional content and to boost the distribution speed of data from outside each region, says Bill Ruvo, head of real-time feeds at Thomson Reuters, thus enabling customers to save money on circuit costs since they no longer need to buy or lease dedicated lines to international market centers.
