BST Awards 2014 ─ All the Winners and Why they Won

Analysis of this year's BST winners and why they won their respective categories.

This year's awards featured three new categories ─ best data analytics tool; best IBOR platform, and best low-latency trading network ─ won by Essentia Analytics, SimCorp, and CFN services, respectively. New to the winners' circle this year are Essentia Analytics, CFN Services, S3 Partners, and Electra Information Systems, while Vermilion Software and Eze Software Group won the two categories announced on the day of the awards ─ best buy-side product for 2014 and best overall buy-side technology provider for 2014 ─ respectively.
