OneMarketData Buys Tick Data for Cloud-Based Content-Analytics Combo
The vendors will combine their respective analytics and historical tick data to form an on-demand historical analysis platform.
The vendors closed the deal last Friday, Oct. 30, which will see Tick Data become a wholly-owned subsidiary of OneMarketData, though it will remain in Virginia with its existing management.
Over the next 30 to 60 days, the two will integrate Tick Data's content with OneMarketData's OneTick analytics platform to create a cloud-based solution offering on-demand access to swathes of historical tick data and the ability to run analytics against that data on the fly.
