After Infobolsa Buyout, BME Looks to Grow LatAm Business with Colombia Branch, Local Alliances
The exchange will leverage its subsidiary OpenFinance's existing presence, and aims to ally with local exchanges.
BME opened its Latibex market─which lists Latin-American securities in euros─in the region in December 1999, and has also had a local presence "for at least the last 10 years, through different projects and joint ventures," a BME spokesperson says, adding that the exchange now wants to strengthen its position in the region.
