SGX Taps IPC for Chicago-Singapore Trading, Data Hub Connectivity

With IPC providing connectivity between the US and Singapore, SGX will be able to extend its services to a broader range of market participants in North America.

As a result of the deal with IPC, it will be easier for Chicago trading firms to access SGX's markets and data.

The new hub, announced in November, will connect SGX's point-of-presence in Singapore with CME Group's co-location facility in Aurora, Illinois, using dedicated connectivity provided by IPC.

Under the new deal, IPC will provide dedicated connectivity between SGX and Aurora, to enable firms to access market data and trade SGX's portfolio of equity, foreign exchange and commodity futures contracts.
