Waters Rankings 2016: Persistence Pays Off
We’ve said it before and no doubt we’ll write it again, but this year’s Waters Rankings was a case of more of the same: more new entrants to the winners’ circle and the same old names winning the categories they have dominated over the years, all thanks to Waters’ readers who decided the outcome of the 30 categories on offer.
This year’s Rankings dinner, held on July 14 at New York’s Metropolitan Club and hosted by major league baseball pundit and analyst Tim Kurkjian, featured five multiple winners—Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, Eze Castle Software, Eze Castle Integration, and RiskVal Financial Solutions—and four first-time winners—BISAM, FactSet, Riskval Financial Solutions and Eagle Investment Systems. Last year’s Rankings attracted a record 400 entries; this year that number climbed again to 470, illustrating the extent of the financial technology sector’s rude health.
