Metamako Appoints Advisor, Tech Vet Covington CEO
Covington, who has served as an advisor to the Australian switch vendor, is taking on the CEO role to help Metamako grow.
Since 2014 London-based Covington has been working as an advisor to Metamako, whose founder and chief technology officer Dave Snowdon says the vendor has now reached a size where it felt appropriate for Covington to take on a "more formal, extended role" as the vendor looks to scale.
Covington was most recently managing director of consultancy company Change Alley, where he held a number of board and advisory roles. Before that, he was CEO of real-time systems monitoring and analytics provider
