Korhammer is best known for founding electronic equities trading platform Lava Trading, which was acquired by Citigroup.
Korhammer was previously CEO of online research marketplace Airex, prior to which he briefly served as CEO of SR Labs (now Vela Trading Technologies), was a senior advisor to Lightyear Capital, and a director and chairman of The Receivables Exchange. Before that, he was managing director of global equities electronic trading at Citi, which he joined via its acquisition of Lava Trading, which he founded and served as CEO.
