Tech Execs Warn on AI Window Dressing

A substantial amount of vendors are making misleading claims about AI capabilities, experts say.

Financial firms are rapidly finding out that, when it comes to artificial intelligence (AI), quite a few vendors may look like ducks, talk like ducks… but still aren’t ducks.

Senior industry executives have warned the finance industry to be vigilant of false and inflated claims of AI capabilities by vendors that might merely be working with sophisticated software—or even using humans on the back end.
