Not only does it provide detailed performance and cost breakdowns, but also comprehensive data visualizations that bring the routing process to life. Our account management and support teams also use it to monitor our clients’ execution. This familiarity with the product enables us to provide a level of consulting that we believe is second to none.”

WHY THEY WON
Since 2010, this category has been won by an assortment of companies, though DASH won the best Algorithmic Trading Provider last year. The vendor will no doubt look to build on its success in the TCA domain with the help of ION.
WHAT’S NEW
DASH was officially acquired by ION Group in June 2021.
The vendor has launched a new version of its DASH OMS, which includes added functionality, flexibility, transparency and performance. DASH OMS provides a rich suite of US listed options and equities functionality supporting simple, complex and volatility-based algo strategies for execution management, as well as the ability to quickly systematize orders and easily send them into the marketplace.
DASH recently released enhanced “Hunt” logic in its Sensor Dark Equity algorithm. The enhancement leverages a customizable timer to allow the algorithm to continue seeking liquidity throughout the life of the order while adhering to user specified aggression controls.
DASH also recently launched new risk and allocation tools. These tools address critical components of the trade lifecycle, both of which are delivered in its DASH360 suite.
WHAT’S TO COME
Since being acquired, DASH and ION will look to globalize the company’s options technology and execution capabilities.
DASH has joined the ION Markets division, which specializes in global trading automation, analytics and innovation across the trade lifecycle, powering key capital markets workflows for financial markets participants across all asset classes.
