How quickly the world changes.

In November 2022, OpenAI unleashed its generative AI chatbot, ChatGPT, on the world. Exactly two years later, Anthropic introduced the Model Context Protocol (MCP), its open-sourced standard that defines how large language models (LLMs) and AI agents can interface with external text and data sources. And just like that, generative AI became “completely passé.”
