FactSet’s Performance Solution (FPS) supports official performance, attribution, Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) reporting and risk analysis. The software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based platform is designed to help asset managers address data complexity challenges, reporting delays and operational inefficiencies, allowing performance teams to deliver accurate, consistent results across multi-asset portfolios, while simultaneously reducing manual effort.

FPS combines performance, attribution, risk and GIPS workflows within a single platform integrated with FactSet’s data and analytics. It reduces reliance on multiple systems and manual processes, offers managed services to support day-to-day operations, and provides tools like Vault and automated reporting to improve consistency, scale and communication.

Recent goals

Over the past 12 months, FPS expanded its managed services and enhanced integration with Portfolio Vault and Insight. This effort has unified data across multiple performance workstreams, including attribution, risk and asset allocation, improved automation and data checks for greater accuracy, and introduced AI-generated portfolio commentary to help performance teams communicate results more efficiently and reduce time spent on reporting tasks.

Product roadmap

Over the next 12 months, FPS will continue to expand and enhance performance process automation and streamline the connection points between products and services. FactSet is undertaking key enhancements to better support the wealth industry with the FPS platform. The firm will also continue to focus on AI initiatives.
