New York puts on a brave face at Best Ex 2008

Best Execution 2008, the New York buy- and sell-side event jointly hosted by DWT and Buy-Side Technology provided the perfect opportunity for US-based financial firms to show the extent to which trading-related issues still dominate their interest despite the ongoing turmoil in the global financial markets. The day-long event, held at the W Hotel (Union Square) in mid-town on 25 September, could not have coincided with a more uncertain time in what has been a tumultuous past 18 months for the US
