Barra's Earning Estimates Customers Will Be Converted To Electronic Format

EDINBURGH--Barra is embarking on a rebranding effort for its broker estimates products and launching a new front-end for the estimates database.
Barra's core estimates service The Estimate Directory (TED)-- a business it acquired from Edinburgh Financial Publishing in 1997 (IMT, July 17, 1998)-- is being renamed Barra Global Estimates. The change comes as Barra gears up to migrate its customers to a full electronic delivery version of the estimates products.
