As Dow Jones & Co.'s quarterly financial statement was released, news emerged that Telerate's second-highest executive, Bill Clabby, had yielded his place in the pecking order to Julian Childs, who has been named chief operating officer. Clabby is expected to retire in the near future. Meanwhile, Dow Jones' earnings statement showed slower Telerate growth rates than in recent quarters. The vendor's first-quarter statement revealed financial information services revenue growth of 13.1 percent
