Buy-Side Spend to Grow…Slowly


BOSTON--Investment managers in the US market will spend $4.1 billion on IT during 2002, according to a report released last month by consultancy Celent Communications. Looking to 2007, Celent predicts that buy-side IT spending will take an upward turn and reach $5.1 billion. Through 2005, asset managers will commit $1.7 billion of those funds to STP-related projects
