Union Bank of Switzerland has unveiled its secret weapon aimed at countering the massive losses posted by its London-based UBS-Phillips & Drew Ltd. subsidiary over the past two years. Its ace in the hole is an information delivery system that links both clients and traders to a host of external data sources as well as to the firm's own PC-based Gemini analytics system.

Data Logic Ltd. also has a lot riding on the success of UBS' massive new trading system, which is the largest project it has yet
