Version 3.6 of SecureVue will allow buy-side firms to recognize atypical behavior.

Security vendor eIQnetworks is working on an overhaul of SecureVue, the company's flagship platform, that will allow for behavioral monitoring of individuals, John Linkous, eIQnetworks' chief security and compliance officer, tells BST. The release, version 3.6 of the product, will be available in the first quarter of 2012.

"We are going to be fully implementing user-behavioral analytics," he says. "We'll be able to tell you when a user does abnormal things based on what he or she normally does."
