Linedata to Tap Machine Learning for System Fragmentation Monitoring

The company plans to test machine-learning models in the coming months to automatically fix IT system fragmentation.

Linedata, through its managed and outsourcing technology services unit Linedata Technology Services, plans to focus on machine learning (ML) to improve its offering, including a project that will automatically fix system fragmentation.

Jed Gardner, senior vice president of Linedata Technology Services, says in the coming months the company will begin working on an application that will automatically defragment a system using artificial intelligence (AI).

The application will monitor
