S&P and SNL have already integrated and built out certain datasets operated by the two vendors (IMD, Dec. 5).

Mike Chinn, former president and chief executive of SNL, who has served as president of the combined division since the acquisition, describes the rebranding as "a galvanizing moment" under "a new, unifying name" that reflects the combined vendor's position as "a leading provider of global financial data and analytics.
