Shank's operations background in other industries will see him take responsibility for overseeing day-to-day operations at Apcela.
Shank was previously strategy and business transformation manager at strategy consultancy Monitor Deloitte (formerly Monitor Group), prior to which he worked in the healthcare and insurance industries, including as senior manager of operations and development at HealthCurrent, director of operations at eHealth Trust, and senior financial analyst at Allstate Insurance.
