Finastra Taps Gareth Burton as New CIO

Burton, who comes from the telecommunications, oil and gas, and construction world, will oversee Finastra's core infrastructure.

Burton, with his three decades of experience in technology, will oversee Finastra’s core infrastructure, employee services and support all business and financial applications. The company said he will work closely with former CIO, and now chief cloud officer, Natalie Gammon, to help build out the company’s cloud and data center plan.

He joins Finastra from the world of telecommunications, oil and gas and construction. Prior to Finastra, Burton was the CIO of construction firm Laing O’Rourke
