NAB Looks to Create Enterprise-Wide Data Standards, Plans End-to-End Metadata Implementation


MELBOURNE - National Australia Bank (NAB) has finished the initial phase of an enterprise domain model project, one of the firm's three ongoing data initiatives aimed at improving standardization and facilitating change, officials tell Inside Reference Data.

NAB is currently setting up three data management projects: the enterprise domain model; a glossary of data definitions and an end-to-end metadata system. The multi-year program will ensure the bank is well-prepared to deal with changes
