Asian Partnership to Launch Cross-Border Debt Settlement Platform
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and Euroclear Bank plan to launch a pilot platform for the cross-border settlement of debt securities on March 30. By harmonizing market practices and standardizing the issuance and settlement of debt securities, it is intended to increase operational efficiency.
