Collateral Optimization Still Not Widespread, But Growing
Though a collateral management specialist at SunGard speculated that the number remains under 10 percent, the better part of a year later, he sees the pace of inquiries quickening.
"It's moving more from a philosophical conversation to a real project," says Ted Allen, head of product management for SunGard's Apex Collateral suite of tools. "People have talked about it a lot in the past. Now they're starting to act."
