Orc Takes Aim at Equities with Neonet Buy

Orc and Neonet officials say they expect to see significant synergies by combining their product offerings and expect those synergies to reach full effect by 2012.

The new entity, which will retain the Orc Software name and the Neonet brands, will be separated into a technology division and transaction division, which will provide a global execution network for equities and derivatives, according to Thomas Bill, CEO of Orc Software.

Bill will remain as CEO of Orc and the rest of the management
